Dedicated #EduLeader and community healthcare advocate with a career spanning K–12 district transformation and independent pharmacy leadership. Served as Superintendent of Carter County, KY Schools from 2011 to 2022, leading the district from the bottom 5% of Kentucky districts to the top 95% in state assessments. Under his leadership, Carter County achieved the highest graduation rate in the state and was recognized for exemplary college and career readiness.

 

Building on a deep commitment to community well-being, he also opened and continues to operate a community pharmacy, expanding access to healthcare while forging strong partnerships between schools, families, and local organizations. His work reflects a holistic belief that thriving communities depend on both strong educational systems and accessible healthcare. He remains an active advocate for education, community engagement, and opportunities that improve outcomes for all learners.
